How we work

The direction of Lindsay's Kitchen

Currently, Lindsay’s Kitchen has a booth down at the Farmers Market of the Ozarks on Saturday mornings, which is operated by the owner, Lindsay Kirtlan. When moving into 14 Mill Market, Lindsay’s Kitchen plans to add two full-time positions and two part-time positions. Our full-time positions will include a store manager and a lead baker. The two part-time positions will include front-of-house help.

MORE ABOUT US

Our Mission

We will strive to always provide top-quality products, as well as service for each and every customer. We will continue expanding recipes, flavors, and products and educate our audience on all social media outlets. We believe our menu items and products will create experiences, and therefore we want to enhance the love of families through food.

Delicious Menu

All of Lindsay’s Kitchen menu items will be baked fresh daily. Soups and salads will be made fresh daily. All of Lindsay’s Kitchen's “take and make” products will be assembled and placed on shelves or in the freezer in advance. Frozen baked goods will be kept no longer than one month, and shelf items will be kept no longer than 6 months.

Real Food

Our preparation of food items consists of using raw ingredients, rather than pre-packaged or processed components. This method of cooking allows for complete control over the quality and freshness of the ingredients used, as well as the ability to customize recipes to one's personal tastes. By making food from scratch, you can ensure that it is free from artificial preservatives, flavorings, and colorings. This cooking method also tends to be more time-consuming, but it often results in dishes that are more flavorful and satisfying. Made-from-scratch cooking can range from simple dishes like our baked goods to complex meals such as soufflés or coq au vin. Regardless of the level of complexity, our made-from-scratch cooking allows for the creation of truly authentic and delicious meals.

From idea to product

Bringing Lindsay's Kitchen from concept to finished product was a complex process that required careful planning and execution. Here are some of the tedious steps that we're taken when bringing Lindsay's Kitchen & Bistro to the "table".

 Conceptualization:

We started by defining the problem that aimed to solve, and considering the potential market and competition.

 Research and Development:

Conducted thorough research to validate our idea and determine its feasibility. This involved speaking with potential customers, testing menu concepts, and gathering data to support our concept.

 Prototyping:

Created a working model of our idea, which was a physical prototype, or a simple mock-up. This helped refine our design and to make any necessary changes.

 Testing:

Test our menu with a small group of family and friends to gather feedback and identify any potential issues. This stage was crucial for improving our product before it went to market.

 Marketing and Sales:

Developed a marketing strategy to promote our business, including identifying our target audience, setting pricing, and determining distribution channels.

 Launch:

Introduced our product to the market and made necessary adjustments based on customer feedback and market response.

Bringing this idea to the market took much patience, dedication, and a willingness to iterate and improve. We appreciate your continued support for our local small family-owned and operated business!
